Motec Life-UK welcomes the news of sponsorship of African volunteer members of Motec on charity Health link trips to hospitals in Ghana. The sub division of the International Organisation for Migration (I.O.M.) called Migration and Development (MIDA) has concluded its deliberations with Motec's President. It will be vital for African members to complete application forms, provide copies of C.V.’s and certificates in partial fulfilment of the requirements and eligibility. This form will shortly be available on the web. The programme starts this April, 2007 which means that three members of the April trip,- George, Simon and Ofori-Atta will have their flight tickets paid for by MIDA. Mr Ofori-Atta has stressed that Motec will continue to find ways to financially support our English/European/non-African members of Motec who are truly friends of Africa. At present, our organisation has a temporary un-sustainable arrangement from family funds and benevolent individuals/services in Ghana to support the rest of the team members to Ghana. Motec will be searching for other sponsors particularly in the U.K., Ghana and International Organisations.
